No longer just videos of cats playing the piano. YouTube has over the past couple of years has become a great place to find legitimate documentaries and interviews dealing with all kinds of topics as well as performances. If you are not sure if a documentary or interview is legitimate ask your instructor or a librarian.
PBS Video
Links to clips, partial and complete shows from PBS including documentaries. Check out the Topics link toward the top of the page.
Netflix
If you are a subscriber to Netflix they have a lot of good documentaries available including some that are streaming video.
Amazon
If you are an Amazon Prime (paying) member you have access to a lot of instant videos. You can also (for a fee) watch streaming documentaries from Amazon.

Films On Demand
Streaming documentaries, interviews, and lectures across a wide range of topics. Includes documentaries, performances and analysis of Shakespeare and his works.
Kanopy
Streaming classic cinema, indie film, and documentaries from all over the world. This movie database currently has the 1979 film version of The Tempest.
