Library Skills to Support Research for Dr. Cabrera's Ethnic Studies and History Classes

This guide is designed to help you with research assignment for Professor Cabrera's Ethnic Studies and History classes.  The guide contains library databases and other resources to assist you with your research. 

If you have any questions or need help researching a topic, we have in-person and online options for you.

The MPC Library is open from 8am-7pm Monday through Thursday, 8am-2pm on Friday, and 10am-2pm on Saturday and there is a reference librarian to help you at the MPC Library Reference Desk when we are open.

Online, you can go to the MPC Library homepage at www.mpc.edu/library where we have Online Library Help and reference chat to help you. The reference hours for online chat reference are 10am - 3pm and  4pm-7pm Monday through Thursday and 10am-2pm on Friday and Saturday.

This is a link to my Prezi presentation that I would be using if I were able to do a presentation face to face in class. Take a look at it as it gives a brief overview of doing research for your class. There are videos on the other pages that are very helpful and clarify how to use these tools.
