Multiple newspapers database

Learn how to find recent local articles.

Use your Lobo Apps login information to access these newspapers. Click the tabs below to learn more.

1. Click on one of the local newspaper's titles. The database will open in a new tab.

2. In the database, click on "Advanced Search"

3. In advanced search, type in your topic in the 1st box and "past 6 months" in the 2nd box.  The dropdown menu next to the 2nd box defaults to dates. Press "Search".

1. Click on the title "Los Angeles Times" to get to the database. The database will open in a new tab.

Click on "Advanced Search" above the search box. If you don't see it, find it in the more options navigation More Options Navigation line symbol to the left.

In Advanced Search, type your topic in the box. On the "Publication date" dropdown menu, pick a date range that matches how recent you want the article. Press "Search".

1. Click on the title "America's News" to search multiple newspapers at once. A new tab will open.

2. From the database's main page, type your topic into the first search box.  Type "past 6 months" in the second search box.  The dropdown menu next to the 2nd box defaults to dates. Below the header "Refine by Source Location", click on the "USA - California" check box. Press "Search".
