Doing Footnotes Using Microsoft Word or Google Docs

In Microsoft Word, to enter a footnote, put the cursor at the end of the last sentence that you want to cite, then under the 'References' tab, click on 'Insert Footnote' (see picture below) and that will put a superscripted number after the end of the text and will put a place for the footnote at the bottom of the page.

 

 

In Google Docs, to enter a footnote, put the cursor at the end of the last sentence that you want to cite then click on the 'Insert' tab at the top and choose 'Footnote' and that will put a superscripted number after the end of the text and will put a place for the footnote at the bottom of the page

**Also...you do a footnote in the text of the report AND you do a bibliography at the end of the report.
