Citing in MLA Format

A post it saying ImportantIMPORTANT! Let people know when the information came from an article, book, or website.  It gives other people the credit for coming up with the idea.  Do two things.

  1. Cite information in your paper.  Write the author's last name and page number in the sentence.
  2. Create a Works Cited page.

Use the two handouts below to see examples on how you do this.  The information you need can be found in the article like the author's name, page number and when it was published.
