Streaming Documentaries

We have two great databases for streaming online documentaries: Kanopy and Films on Demand. I recommend checking out these two databases for documentaries and/or movies that relate to any topics you are doing your paper on. If you click on them they will ask you for your LoboApps login.Once you do that, you will have access.

I also recommend checking out YouTube as they have some great resources there (make sure they are legitimate), and you may find documentaries and films on subscription services like Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Links to clips, partial and complete shows from PBS including documentaries. Check out the Topics link toward the top of the page.
Netflix
If you are a subscriber to Netflix they have a lot of good documentaries available including some that are streaming video.
Amazon
If you are an Amazon Prime (paying) member you have access to a lot of instant videos. You can also (for a fee) watch streaming documentaries from Amazon.
TED-Technology, Entertainment, Design: TEDTalks
TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading...the talks are by experts in their field and are noted for their creativity and vision. Each talk runs about 15 minutes.
